The seafood was fresh and cooking was good. But I'd rate it to three stars because I feel we were scammed into ordering the big crab which cost about 3x more than small crab but when the dish finally arrived I'd say that's a medium size crab at most and when I complained about it to the staff who insist... Not worth the waiting. There are better seafood stalls and restaurants around.. Stairs are steep and narrow. Space quite cramp..

We ordered a steam fish with spice and lemon, prawns in spicy sauce, Tom yam soup, morning glory, calamari and 3 coconuts which costs Thai bat 1060. Its cheap! The food is fantastic! However not recommending those who can't take streets food.

When I first arrived there's no table available so I was waiting for a little while and fortunately there's one. I've ordered stir fried noodles with squids and prawns which is lovely but Tom Yum even more tasty. If you're around China town you must visit this place. Oops if you don't like the spicy please tell them in advance... More

My first experience in 2010 was a memorable one...Not so currently. We were there at 5pm on a Saturday, with the street set-up not done yet, we were ushered to the air conditioned 2nd level. The food served was rather disappointing, neither Chinese nor Thai kind of cooking and taste. Tom yum soup ought to be served under a fire... More

The food was good. Big portions. Don't order too much. There was some Q. Very crowded. But good food. Overall, good to come and try.

We went there around 8. It was very busy but we got our places behind the table fairly quickly. Very good food and quick service. We ate tom yum with lemon grass (very good) and deeply fried fish with fish sause. Yum!

T&K seafood services good fresh seafood, well preperred for a verry low price. Your sitting as from 18.00 hours on a Bar Hocker on the street, the steel tables are wished of after you have eaten and the rest is primitive! But you have to go there wenn in Bangkok! We are two or three times there every year and... More

recommend oysters and spicy crab curry, chicken salad. Place a bit crowded, so bit difficult to get hold of staff but worth the food.

Despite the always there queue, their service is amazingly fast. With a vast varieties of seafoods offered. Worth a try! Beware of the super narrow and steep staircase to climb upon!

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
