The food here is average, their pork cutlet can be quite dry and tasteless...price is affordable.. Service is ok..

The set meals were a good price, however the queue to get in was about 50 minutes. The place is quite small and obviously popular. The Pork was good, as was the crunchy chicken. Only downside was the pressure to get you out, due to diners waiting outside.

Saboten have moved to the third floor and located adjacent to the entrance of Isetan since early this month. The tonkotsu here were of high quality as the bread crumb outside was crunchy and the meat inside was soft. However, the tonkotsu lacked taste or sweetness. Fortunately, the flavorful katsu sauce with sesame provided made up for the blandness. All... More

This is second time I am eating here before my flight down south. The menu in this fast food Japanese bar is easy to choose from, they gave maybe dozen different set to choose from. Food taste fresh and nice, service is fast and efficient.

If you like to eat "tonkatsu" or deep-fried breaded pork or other meat, then this is a place for you. All the dishes here are deep-fried in japanese style. It's meat coated with bread crumb (panko) and fried in a hot oil, served with rice, cabbage salad, miso soup and greentea ice-cream. The rice, cabbage and soup are unlimited, you... More

A nice Japanese experience, if you order a TonKatsu set. First they serve you a fresh coleslaw as much as you want with a lovely dressing. The Miso soup is very tasty and will also be refilled as you want. The TonKatsu (Compare it with a German Schnitzel Wiener Art) is very tender and with the self prepared sauce of... More

This place is always pack so I was curious to try. Man, I was not disappointed as the Tonkutsu here is very good - just like the one I get in Japan. Price is reasonable and service is good too.

The texture, the taste and the presentation are close to any tokashu restaurants in Japan. Service and speaking manner not changed. ( I went there the first month it opened, and have continued to have one meal, at least, every time I come to Bangkok.) But, the devil is in the details. Saboten does not use Japanese rice for over... More
