The restaurant strives to live up to its name with the décor but the food and the pathetic service is a big let down. We had the prawn fried rice, Thai noodles with pork and batter fried prawns with some veggies. To begin with the service is extremely poor as nine of the staff understands or comprehends English. We asked... More

Just above average Thai food in a nice decorated restaurant. We like the pineapple rice & deep fried groupa fish. Requested that the green vegetable to be stir fried with garlic instead of adding oyster sauce, they just boiled the green vegetable & gave us a small bowl of deep fried galic. They don seem to know the Chinese style... More

The food is medium. The presentation is nice but the taste could be much better. The price is a bit on the high side considering the taste.

I've eaten here numerous times over the past few years. It's a pretty place with an authentic Thai atmosphere, white table cloth and wait staff in traditional dress. If you look closely, the dining room and it's decor are a little dated/weathered. But I overlook that. The food, presented quite beautifully, is "average" to my taste. But it's not expensive.... We went in for a late lunch and the place was almost empty. But we were welcomed quite heartily and looked after very well. Excellent choices on the menu and they also do various set Thai steamboat menus. We had a fluffy catfish salad(nam pla duc phu), a rice dish with prawns and a som tham salad. All well presented... Our group of 16 had a pre-ordered dinner. The crispy appetizer served in a leaf in a tiny bowl started us off beautifully. The main course, rice served inside a half-pineapple, was complemented with curried duck and stewed vegetables with garlic. The grand finale was a scoop of ice cream. Honestly, this was a great meal, marvellous in its simplicity,... More

this is simply a rip-off ... not everything that shines is gold...the food was average - and the service was ok. The bill was hefty for next to nothing to eat. The bill came as 710BAHT to pay without further details... I had to ask for a detailed bill... Whatever you do avoid! Unworthy of Thailand and its cuisine.

This fine dining place looks good and serves amazing Thai food. The rice crackers with shrimp and peanut sauce is something I'll never forget. The service is slow, the wait long, but food delectable. The staff doesnt speak english, so any specific request is better communicated to the manager.

One of our tour guides was Thai and shee ordered food and drinks for us. I must say the meal was very nice and we found the staff to be attentive. i am looking forward to... More

Priced moderately with good variety and a pictoral menu, one can't possibly have much to crib about. Two issues stood out: 1. Staff was kind but absent and away for far too long. Imagine shouting in a restaurant and still not getting a response. Happened to me! 2. Preparation takes time and this place will not speed up. So be... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
