This is a pleasant reprieve from the mayhem on offer in Nana. A decent selection of ale, good grub at prices comparable with other places on this soi all amount to a worthwhile stop off. It been here for a few years so frequented by locals and visitors alike; the chequers manage their customers in a friendly way that will... More

Small friendly bar/restaurant. particularly good for British visitors. Sport on TV, western style food available. Not too noisy and hassle free.

Been several times and always enjoyed it. Its smack bang in the nightlife of soi 4. Mix of local expats and people on holiday. Fairly small English pub with a pleasant atmosphere serving good pub food. Sports on TV and sometimes music playing (not live). Owner is a really nice guy called Nick from Cornwall. If you need a touch... More

The owner, Nick, is a Cornishman and knows hot make a true pasty. A very welcome alternative. A cozy bar with great atmosphere and very efficient and charming bar staff. The main bar is downstairs but on the first floor is a separate restaurant for those wanting more peaceful surroundings. Good sports channels and selection of popular music favourites to... More

It is difficult to regard this as a British pub when the only beers on tap apart from Guinness are Heineken, Carlsberg and the usual Thai stuff. Very disappointing. It is also very cramped. One good point is that there are no added charges, and the beer prices are reasonable apart from the aforementioned Guinness, which at 275 Baht is... More

Ok, I love Thai food, but after a couple of weeks you get a bit desperate! Our visit here was a "need" that was satisfied in spades. An excellent cottage pie, a, to die for lamb shank, great wine and super service. The table next to us had a big breakfast and that wa excellent, too! Highly recommend!!

Decent British pub a hundred meters down Soi 4. All day happy hour plus Guinness on tap. Open but with air con to keep things cool. 300 baht English breakfast plus daily specials what's not to like? Civilised for the area.

Thanks Angstas for your fabulous review. We have just fitted a new airconditioner, so now it's even cooler. We have also changed our sausage supplier, as we are constantly striving to improve our products. I hope you will approve on your next visit. More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
