Takky made my girlfriend’s birthday more memorable with her exemplary service and attitude! We enjoyed every dish we ordered. We wish we had more people to try even more from the menu. We will be back! Thank you, Takky! For every arrangement accommodated to our...request. The House of Sathorn is also so beautiful for photos! Interesting history aside from architecture. Love love love everything above Paii! People, Food & Place!More

Very good as always, the set lunch menu has been changed a bit; although i still like it, but i love the previous way for the Frank Steak. Service is always the best, Takky and Cher took good care of me and are very helpful!

I must say I did check TripAdvisor before planning a visit to Paii, because I wanted my husband’s birthday celebration dinner to be special, and it really delivered. The setting is in a really nice looking historical building, the House of Sathorn, the inside is...really lovely and care has been taken to place the tables in a well-planned way, not too close but still feeling intimate. Since we booked our hotel in advance, I requested the concierge to help make a booking for us, including that we wanted the baked crab (the pu ob klone, which needed 24 hours’ advance notice. Being from Singapore, we wanted to try a different style altogether). So glad we did, it was delicious, the serving was definitely enough for 2, which we had with a soup, and finished off with a dessert. The dessert was wonderful too, with tangerine flavour that went so well with rich chocolate. Throughout we had the best service from Mr Feb and Ms Pat, and another, a young gentleman whose name I did not get. They seemed interested in us, this isn’t something that we should take for granted. It was just an awesome experience. By the way, please remember to show the Marriott membership for a discount.More

Visited this restaurant twice. It was featured on a list of eateries in historical buildings and wanted to check it out. We were a little underprepared on our first visit and did not have a reservation. If you want to sit inside, best to book...online. So we sat outside but the staff were able to accommodate our request to move inside for dessert. On our second visit, we made sure to book so that we could sit inside. Cher, Gam and Feb remembered us from last time. Their service was highly personalised and attentive. The vegetarian menu is limited but the dishes are delicious. The restaurant’s sticky rice is still our favourite in Thailand.More

The food here is an absolute delight, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that hit all the right notes. From the generous chunks of crab meat in the crab fried rice to the rich and flavorful Tom Yum Kung, every dish is a winner. But it's...the simple yet incredibly tasty crispy pork with stir-fried Thai hot basil that stole our hearts. The restaurant's atmosphere adds to the enjoyment of the meal, making it taste even better. The courtyard in the middle of the house is also a great spot for taking beautiful photos. Thankful to the staff Khun Gam and Khun Pat for making our experience even better—they took such good care of us and made sure we left with happy bellies and big smiles.More

I wish to thank others that submitted reviews ahead of me, which helped me select Paii for dinner one night during our visit to Bangkok. This restaurant was highly rated on TA and well deserves the high rating! First… THE MEAL: My husband and I...shared a variety of dishes including soft shelled crab, squid, Iberico pork, mushrooms, and for dessert a wonderful panna cotta with an artistic design made from various exotic fruits on top. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We never felt rushed, and the Chef graciously came out to greet us. The wine was well presented and poured, with our glasses always discreetly topped up. The staff was excellent! Very welcoming, friendly and gracious. We felt pampered from the moment we checked in. THE AMBIANCE: We loved the beautifully maintained, high ceilinged 130-year old architecture. Very elegant and inviting! It looks like a beautiful 2-3 story former home adjacent to the W Hotel—quite a contrast. There is a very elegant bar that appeared to be well-stocked in another room of the house. Although we ate indoors, there was a charming inner courtyard outside. In short, an esthetically pleasing and elegant setting that fit the meal! I can highly recommend this restaurant. Overall a great value.More

We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday the day we arrived in Bangkok at Paii Restaurant in the historic Hose of Sathorn. I would like to note the very friendly welcome by the staff, especially Takky, who helped us with the choice of dishes and...accompanied us throughout the evening with excellent service and a wonderful smile. We would also like to thank Mr. Feb who was very kind and agreed to show and tell us about the historical building that now houses Paii (the former Soviet embassy for 50 years). It was very interesting. As for the dishes, everything was extremely tasty and at the highest level. At the end of the evening, my wife was served a small cake with a candle and the staff sang a happy birthday song. It was so nice! Thank you to the entire Paii team for making this evening so enjoyable and unforgettable for us.More

A good place for Thai food with a touch for fine culinary. Enjoy all the dishes thoroughly and extra touch such as de-shelled prawns and crabs in every meal I had. A huge shout out to M and Boom who hosted me the entire night...with wide smile and great initiatives. They certainly elevated the overall experience here!More
