From Sukhumvit BTS (pheom Phong) direction Mo Chit, at Siam station you’ll transfer to the Silom line direction Bang Wa and get off at Saphan Taksin station. Go down the stairs at the station, cross the street and take a left at the corner (careful...More

This place really doesn’t look like much. Very simple tables, halfway between being a takeaway and a restaurant and not a lot of room. However, the menu is very interesting and of course the duck is sensational.

Thanks to a fellow tourist, I heard about this small outfit - shocking that I have been to Bangkok half a dozen times before without knowing about this place! Simply must do on each trip to BKK. I arrived around 9pm the first night to...More

We ate here 2 evenings out of 3. Ok, the place is very basic but clean - better to sit downstairs than upstairs if you have the choice. The duck is delicious (no bones or fat) and that goes for whichever dish you choose +...More

A classic hole in the wall, blink and you miss it Bangkok café. Right opposite the Robinson department store it's at once easy to find and easy to miss, stick with the search though, you will not regret the choice. Best for lunch, the restaurant...More

During our recent four weeks stay in Bangkok we had lunch here at least 4 times. We simply loved their duck and wontons. The patrons are a good mix of locals and tourists although this is remains a down to hearth, local eatery! Hope it...More

This unpretentious Roasted Duck restaurant on a main street in Bangkok, is a fabled 100 years old, and has been serving duck as a speciality dish for the last century! Unlike most restaurants who serve duck on a base of string cabbage, here the duck...More

The roast duck that is so highly reviewed built up our expectations even before we went. If you are not careful, one can easily miss the shopfront of Prachak. We didn't experience the Thai service with a smile here. Price was cheap and the food...More

This restaurant has a downstairs and upstairs and was very busy when we arrived. We ordered two duck noodles with shrimp wontons and some morning glory. The bill came to 320 baht. The noodles were very tasty and the duck, but unfortunately this was served...More

Excellent roast duck--nicely sliced--not hacked full of bones as duck often is stateside. Good grilled pork belly, too. Informal, with crowds of people. You are sure to have to share a table. Service fast, efficient, pleasant, but not overly friendly. Lots of customers to serve,...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
