We had good meal here tonight, thought we would try here even after the reviews of the manager shouting at his staff! The food and service were really good, had one glass of wine and that was nice, ordered another and saw him add something else from a cocktail shaker, tried the wine as soon as it were served, certainly... Fantastic food all recommended by Robert. He knows his food. His wife is lovely too. We had the wing bean salad and I have to say it was full of flavour and probably the best food iv ever had! The massaman curry was delicious as was the chicken cashew dish and the mixed vegetables. The drinks were adapted to my... More

I decided to go to this restaurant due to its good ranking. After visit, I found out the good rating probably came from the westernized service. As many people had mentioned, they had a Canadian manager. When you enter and leave, he will come to greet you and chat a little bit. Most people inside are tourists. The menu and... More

...did not look fancy, but we had read the reviews beforehand and we are so happy we did. Food and drinks were good, reasonable prices and the staff was great. Very helpful telling us about the area - what what a must see and where to avoid. Probably some of the best food we had in all of our travels... More

We got here around 7pm on a Friday night as things started to pick up. The food is delicious and authentic Thai (without it being so spicy that you're crying in the end). Robert the owner is gracious and it's great to have an interaction with the owner and learn a bit about Bangkok. I had the fried pork and... More

After a nice dinner we called into Oasis Lounge for a night cap. Great little bar which serves wonderful cocktails and a variety of drinks and Thai food. Owner and staff very friendly. Was a nice end to a long day and a good escape from the busy street.

I highly recommend making this place your first visit in Bangkok. The food was excellent, a great selection of the menu. It's all authentic Thai dishes. The owner/manager was from Canada and couldn't be more helpful with the information and helpful tips he gave us about where to go and what to do in Bangkok. My only regret was discovering... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
