Good for group of friends.. but not ideal for a date or classy affair. Seems to have lot of things good lights, sheesha, alcohol, floor seating.. but something about it not correctly done together. the only ideal seating was actually reserved for VIP ? as other seating either bit too high or too low or just look out of place.... You can find way better indian food in Bangkok, but usually you will not sit (or lay) on the floor when eating it. Recommended: Bombay Blues Mutton Masala. Definitely not recommended: any type of paratha.

This is my favourite restaurant in Bangkok!! It's a must stop on your adventure! It's some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Really great staff and owners. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone! Can't wait to go back :)

We were initially positive to get a nice romantic cabin. While waiting for our food we were asked move to a small table in the access way to the kitchen (people running by all the time) as the restaurant wanted our original table for a large group of chinese people. The result was that all romance was exchanged to a... More

Really amazing food, not too expensive, really friendly and helpful staff! The jasmine mojito is great and the atmosphere is lovely. Really unique restaurant with loads of cushions to lounge on, perfect to just really chill out.

Nice and relax environment with good music. Music isn't too loud so still able to talk to friend comfortably. Food is also good and not expensive. Recommend to sit inside room so you can hang out longer if you want to without new people coming and standing over you , waiting to get a table and kind of forcing you... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
