9/10 for shark fin soup and 5/10 for service mind. The restaurant serves a very high quality shark fin soup... personally, I think this restaurant is better than many restaurants in the Yao-wa-raj area (China Town).

Very disappointed. We ordered 4 dishes and turned out only shark's fin is good but not value for money. It costs about S$ 45 per bowl but I rather pay S$ 80 to eat in Singapore as the amount of shark's fin is much more. The other dishes (crab with vermicelli, mustard veggie and fish maw with prawns) are a... More

restaurant a little dated, but food wise, nice, had the noodles with Shankfin soup. However, a little pricey. Service is ok, place clean.

9 of us for dinner. We were told that, coincidentally, the lift just broke down that day. The aged tell-tale hand-written note told a different tale. The first section of the climb had no handrail. But worst, the second section had handrails .... that wobbled when one held on to it. And, as you can see from pic attached, the... More

Went on friend's recommendation. It's a smallish restaurant. Seems popular as we went at 6pm and crowd is already coming in. Had a small bowl of fins to share which is alright. Ordered few other dishes and they were OK too. The suckling pig was a disappointment. It was more like a small pig. It was too big and tough... More

When you walk into the restaurant you will notice the open kitchen (block off by a glass panel) and there you will see the slow and industrious effort of the chefs laboring over numerous pots of broth under the boss supervision and involvement in preparing your order. The price may not be cheap relative to Bangkok standard but you know... More

Portion of shark fins is pitifully small and not as described on the menu. I would skip the shark fin the next time. The fish maw soup is deliciously good and tasty. Suckling pig is good value too.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
