the mont nom sod is one of the most popular dessert and milk restaurants in bangkok. i never went there without a queue. but even it looks like long waiting time, as always in thai restaurants... people dont sit and talk after eating, they pay...and go. so even the queue looks long the waiting time is acceptable. and it‘s worth to wait. their steamed bread with egg custard, or the large variety of milk drinks compensate for the waiting time.... all i can say it‘s yummy and i will go back because i want to try everything😉More

We were wandering around MBK towards the end of our vacation and saw long lines here. Usually a good sign so we waited on line a few minutes and were very happy we did. If you're in the mood for an inexpensive sweet dessert this...fits the bill. We got one coconut and one pandan toast and both were delicious. If we ever make it back to Bangkok this is on our list of places to revisit.More

Was there for an afternoon teabreak. The steamed toasts were really soft and went really well with their famous custard dip! The milktea was equally nice and we enjoyed very much!

All my mates raved about this joint. “Nom Sod”literally means fresh milk and I take it that the founders were one of the early pioneers. Having devoured a crate load of delicious vegetarian food from the 5th Flr food court of the MBK centre, thus...exhausting whatever was left on my Rabbit card, it was decided to have pudding at this well known joint hidden towards the far/ hotel end of the 2nd floor. Certainly popular particularly among students from nearby chulalankorn university as there was a queue and was jam packed, I ordered a green condensed milk and taro dip with toasted bread alongside strawberry flavoured milk which apparently this place is famed for. Well, the bread was soft and nothing spectacular and the condensed milk and strawberry flavoured milkshake drink I found to be too sweet for my liking. Not too far off from something I could have prepared at home with a jar of nesquick for free actually!! Well, perhaps my palate is different and I’m not into super sweet diabetes causing, syrupy type deserts but appears to be popular among locals. I wouldn’t be going back for a bit of spread on toasted bread..... I’ll stick to the food court!!More

The first time we went there, we reached around 8.15 pm and the store was all out of toast! (Even though the store operates till 9 pm.) There was only strawberry milk and chocolate milk left :( so I ordered one each for my children....They were happy with the taste. The next day, I made sure we went earlier. We reached around 3.30 pm on a Thursday. There was a full house and we waited around 2 minutes for a table. (I was disappointed to find that Taro flavor is only served on Mondays.) We ordered the original custard and pandan toast for the adults, and sugar toast for the children. We all enjoyed the food. Toast cost around 20-25 THB while milk cost around 40-60 THB depending on size.More

We couldn’t help but be drawn into this bustling and brightly-decorated place when walking past. Simple but highly extensive menu with different ordering stations for drinks or toasted bread. We went for the condensed milk and bread, which was amazing. The bread was sweet and...soft, very brioche-like but unique. Recommend this place for a quick sweet snack to experience the buzzing atmosphere and treats.More

It’s not Singaporean’s typical kaya toast for breakfast. In fact this place is mostly crowded at night. Kinda like a dessert place You can choose from a variety of spreads. Kaya, milk tea, condensed milk, yam. It’s all a tad too sweet for me though....The tip is to buy their milk drinks - original and strawberry flavour - goes well with the bread. All made in house. For about 25 baht per toast. I can see why it’s very popular with the locals. I went on a Monday night around 9pm and it was packed. My local Friend said there’s usually a queue outside on other days.More

Went to have the toast bread at the city hall after having our dinner at MIT Ko Yuan which is few doors away. The bread was soft and nice to eat. Kaya, sugar and coconut custard toast was nice but the orange flavour was quite...sweet. Eating the toast must have their Thai milk tea for a good combination with no regret.More

This is a bread shop but what is unique is that the toast taste delicious and not sweet. It is always packed so be ready to wait for a bit for your seat. Definite will come back to eat here again.

This is Southeast Asian toast style. The smoothest ever tasted. Perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea. Your kids with sweet tooth will most like love it. Just can’t stop eating to try out the different cream flavours that include pandan, chocolate, corn, strawberry, sugar honey...etc. This goes very well with their Thai milk tea. A must have in Bangkok.More
