This restaurant was down the street from the hotel I stayed in for a conference. Went there for dinner with a large group. It's an Italian-Thai fusion restaurant. The tables are laid out tightly, as they wanted to fit our entire group towards the back portion of the restaurant. Hence some of us had limited space. The food was good... More

Nice atmosphere with the attentive service that made my dinner superb. I ordered a cocktail was Plato, it was great. Moreover, I tried Seafood Spaghetti was yummy and fresh. Finally with Tiramisu was so fantastic.

Firstly this is not about the food which we had looked forward to when we researched from home. We arrived when the room had 2 tables of 4 each with 2 persons at them. We were given a table at the automatic door which opened when someone walked past As 1 couple left and the other two girls were on... More

My partner and I visited Mazzaro whilst staying at the Lebua in Bangkok. It was only a short distance from the hotel and had great reviews so thought we would try it. Ambience was great, a lovely modern restaurant off the back streets of Bangkok - a nice hidden gem as we would never have found it! For starters we... More

My review may be considered unfair since, all things considered, it was a very solid dining experience. The decor was great, the music was chill, and the food was quite good. I had a Thaijito cocktail which was quite well done. My dining partner and I ended up sharing a few dishes, with the Yum Nua Yang sticking out (beef... More

Just happened to come across this restaurant after an aimless wander looking for a suitable family restaurant nearby. Huge menu with very detailed pictures of exactly what you were ordering which the kids loved. For once the food looked exactly like the pictures and was superb. Seafood was a highlight and the staff were very attentive. Bill for a family... More

After viewing other trip advisor reports we choose this four our first meal in Bangkok. Prices are reasonable and quality very good Minor complaints of chewey pad Thai noodles and slightly undercooked salmon. But that did not stop us from returning for a second night. Very extensive menu, good drinks and very good deserts.

This was a great find. The food is the best I had in Bangkok. While it's a bit western catering, it seems fairly upscale authentic. Really great.

This is a very nice restaurant with a modern clean interior and very friendly staff; it is perhaps slightly more expensive than many nearby restaurants but we thought definitely worth a little extra. They have an extensive wine list with relatively inexpensive (by Thai standards) decent wines. The Spring Rolls, Saté, and Green Papaya Salad were all excellent; the Chicken... More

Mazzaro is conveniently located close to several of the larger luxury hotels in the centre of Bangkok. Walk down a narrow lane by the side of the Shangri La Hotel, and the entrance is past the Mazzaro boutique. Indoor air-conditioned seating inside, however we preferred the outdoor seating area. The rack of lamb and the kobe beef were excellent, however... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
