Probably the absolute sky bar among the best in BKK...what a over-looking view of Chao Nam Phya...drinks are one hell expansive but worth the evening. They should abolished the strict dress code..not everyone wants to put on suit just to be on top there...perhaps for ladies is ok...try the Mohito or Bloody Mary is damn good but I wouldn't go for... Stayed at Lebua state whilst in Bangkok, went there as I saw the rooftop bar in Hangover 2 the movie, and also learning it was the highest rooftop bar in the world had to give it a go, stayed there for 2 nights, I didn't like the service given it felt too commercial as opposed to other 5 star hotels... This was beautiful. The view, the service and the food were all faultless. A once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.

You pay for the view and that is just an understatement. I had dinner there with 7 friends on the evening of January 7th. The bill came out to an average of $225 USD per person and normally if the food is great then I would have no problem with that but it was subpar. The guys in our group... More

I strongly recommend you not to visit the Sirocco restaurant if it's raining. You will be placed under the dome , a floor higher in the tower. Nicer view ? No definitely not! Because of the cold AC the windows are so damp you can't even see outside. The interior is horrendous and really not worth the visit. Also a... More

The restaurant and club are on the top level of state tower and Lebau hotel. The food is very good and great for a special occasion. The bar area well appointed and bottle service available. The staff very good, and the scenery is beautiful as one can see a majority of the city

Truly an astounding view from Sirocco. The food was extraordinary as was the drinks. That said, quality doesn't come cheap, so expect to pay for it. The service was very good - extremely polite, fun and friendly waiters. Remember to book ahead and consult the dress-code, otherwise access can be denied. A very high-class experience.

Full of beautiful people. Expensive drinks in relative terms and apparently don't eat there...overpriced and not so good. Having said all that, worth going for one drink for the views. Just remember no shorts or flip flops. Felt sorry for the hotel guests and beautiful ones that had to share the same lift as us mere mortals!

This is a wonderful place to have a special evening. It's an outside restaurant so make sure that the weather will be clear that evening when booking. He had worried that it might be hot and humid like most outside restaurants but there was a light breeze and very comfortable. The view is totally spectacular and the food is fabulous... More

One of the most romantic dinners I've had. Beautiful views and yummy food. Only thing is upon approaching we were asked if we'd like a drink while we waited for our table. I said yes straight away before bothering to review the prices. Wasn't until my partner told me it was $100AU (approx 2500 baht) a glass. My jaw dropped!... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
