Le Normandie has been newly renovated but retains a luxury classic French ambience, I often go to restaurants and find that one or two courses on a tasting menu are misses - not here, every visit surprises me with the consistency and quality of the food from start to finish. Also excellent wine list and great service. Will always be... More

The best restaurant in Thailand for me . Both service and food are excellent in view of Chao phraya river.

We come to Le Normandie for lunch every time when we stay in Bangkok. We always have good food and great service. This time we come to celebrate for the birthday. Wow, its splendid ambiance after renovation. We really enjoyed our special dinner. Thank you for your birthday cake. Bravo!

We love the food here. Go for the lunch set menu. Its pretty affordable at THB1300 and value for money. Dinner will cost 3 times more. Try the cheese tray. However there was one bad experience we made a reservation over the phone and when we reached there, the restaurant claimed they never receive the call and refuse to sit... More

Exceptional cooking from Chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthier with frequent visits of high-calibre chefs from around the world. Excellent sommelier, Mr.Banyat, took care of matching wines throughout the meal. Service was impeccable. With some kind of divination, they stay away, giving you plenty of space and privacy but will appear when you need service before you ask for one.

Every time in Bangkok it is a must to to Le Normandie for lunch or dinner. Definitely the best fine dining in Bangkok with its great service and venue. Food is kept french classic but in a modern way. I love the dessert trolley, one of the last restaurants still doing this! For Sure good enough for at least one... More

Just the best French cuisine with first class service, accompanied by a subtle attention to every detail from the moment you enter until you leave with a belly full of joy. The food is prepared by a Michelin star chef and served in a picturesque ambiance overseeing the river.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
