This simple restaurant has vibrant flavors. Everything on the menu is delicious. The whole chicken is $4.50. It looks plain but tasted devine. most of the other dishes are between $2-3. It is not the low cost that should make you eat here but the excellent food. This is what Thai food is about. Delicious, clean, fresh.

This place primarily does one thing, but they do it extraordinarily well. We shared a whole chicken (they're on the small side but still filling) with papaya salad, and it was a generous lunch for two people. Both sauces served on the side packed a ton of flavor - we thought everything was excellent and would definitely return.

A tiny eatery off the main road, close to Wat Phrad Singh. They were about to close when we arrived at 6pm so we got the last gai yang (grilled chicken) to takeaway and eat at the hotel. The small bird was served with a garlicky chilli sauce, more sweet than spicy. We thought the gai yang was nice and... More

I found this place lived right up to all the hype. Very basic setting and gets crowded, but more than offset by the amazing chicken! Lovely staff and friendly service.

Best chicken ever, 150B for a whole chicken, been there the last 2 days, the chicken is excellent, juicy, well cooked and a good garlic flavoring from the stuffing. Not open for dinner, so needs to be a lunchtime visit.

The restaurant may not look fancy but their food are amazing. We ordered a roasted chicken and it tastes super good with nice sauce and texture! Definitely come back again!

I always go back to sp chicken when I come to Chiang mai (twice a year). It's great! The main chicken roaster (forget his name) is always kind and smiling and the food is delectable. I love the beef, somtam, and of course the chicken and sticky rice. I'm not giving this 5 stars because they often run out of... More

Went there for early lunch after visiting Wat Phra Singh. A queue was already forming at 11.00 am. If you are in the vicinity and need to have a quick lunch, I guess this place is an option. I have tasted much more delicious roasted spring chicken at Medan Selera in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. After exiting Wat Phra Singh, turn... More
