Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant recently.First thing that I noticed was the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Very good menu and excellent salad bar. Most important was the price and quality of the food. If I have one complaint it is that the service was a little slow, but it was a busy night with customers been served inside and... More

I had a delicious three course meal - main = beef bourguignon - and a 1/2 carafe of wine for an incredibly low less than $20US. The salad bar is amazing and could be a meal in itself. Chocolate mousse as a desert was the perfect finish. I highly recommend L'Olivier.

Had the fixed price cheaper menu. Vegetable soup awful - watery tasteless with bits of cabbage and carrot. Self serve buffet - ok quiche and salami, dreadful pate and some other indefinable paste. Coq au vin came steaming hot (microwave?) with an awful brown sauce glop and totally dried out Potato Dauphinoise. If it hadn't been so cheap I would... More

Been to this resturant before but now under new managment. The menu choice has two very reasonable fixed price choices as well as al acarte. The service was very good and the food excelent. The salad bar offerring which is now available every day is very good with lots of choice. The wine is good and dtinks at reasonable prices.

French inspired restaurant in Jomtien. I do guess we choosed the wrong day for this restaurant. Three Thai waiters were quite busy in the evening. We ordered a nice bottle of red wine and still water. No Appetizer is served, but we got some old bread. We decided not to go for any starter and both ordered chateaubriand as our... More

Especially at weekends with the salad bar open, it is worth dining there. Staff are helpful and try to please you. Salad bar very nice and in combination with a choice of four main courses and desserts good value for money.

This is a nice restaurant without pretentions. Nice and clean Thai and French food. Good wine. Airconditioning inside but also a terrace with tables for smokers (like me) good food for a reasonable price.

Just to advise that L'Olivier seem too be closed, and the building where it is located in Jomtien Complex is for sale. Too bad, it was a nice place for dining.

We have been visiting restaurants several times in 2013 and liked it very much. It is still recommendable, but something has changed, it is not like before. Maybe the Chef is changed, we were not as impressed as we were last time. My duckfilet was really overdone, (but crispy). Hope ro get it better next time. May be the Chef... More
