Had to try the buzz about what the Chef choice and inviting Prez Obama to taste the authentic of Bun Cha.
Did not disappointed, it’s the one I’d return for more Bun Cha, there are plenty of Bun Cha’s place but this one is something...special!More
This restaurant is highly rated for their Bun Cha however we were not very impressed.
The meat was not freshly grilled and was served barely warm.
Compared to the serving size of the locals sitting next to us, our portions were 1/2 size for the...same combination set (cost D95,000).
The restaurant was dirty even though we are very accustomed to eating in local style restaurants. The floor was lined with littered napkins, herbs etc.
We were recommended a different (dirty but delicious) Bun Cha restaurant located in the Old Quarter, they cooked the meat fresh to order and served the same quantity/combination for D35,000.More
Never had Bun cha before so cant compare. It was recommended by a tour company operator we booked for Ha Giang. The owner took the time to explain how it works and how to eat the Bun cha (through gestures). I am grateful for that...in itself. Authentic, filling, good lunchMore
When we arrived we were taken upstairs to be seated. I asked for a menu & nit site if language barrier made it hard to understand but next minute all this food arrived. 4 bowls of meat in soup & a huge plate of spring...rolls. While it was really delishous there was SO much food, we had to leave alot. Next time I will make sure I say we don't need a full amount for the kids 2 servings would have been plenty for all of us.
We will definitely be going back before we go home the food they served us was delicious.
It was 110 per person for whatever we were given.More
Street Food at its Best. We weren’t sure about sitting in preschool sized plastic chairs but glad we took the chance. Still a bit culture shocked we didn’t really order so much as the lady said a few things to us and then brought us...fried spring rolls, three bowls of bun cha, heaping rice noodles and hill of leafy greens. With scooters whizzing by we enjoyed one of the best of our stay in Hanoi. Certainly the most interesting. Highly recommend with Ha Noi beer.More
Our tour guide earlier in the day recommended this place to us.. and it is UNREAL GOOD! We’re leaving in the morning and unfortunately it’s not open for breakfast or else we’d be back there. Delicious!!
