You need to be willing to wait in line, but it moves quickly and the pho is the best we've ever had, and we eat it a lot!

Whilst mooching around the streets of Hanoi I happened to pass this 'hole in the wall' restaurant, which was jam packed full of locals and a few tourists. So I thought I'd join the queue. I don't speak Vietnamese and they don't speak English, so I handed them 50,000 VD (around £1.80) and they handed me a huge bowl of... More

This is street food at its best. We talked with a family from Ho chi Min who come here because it is the best pho in Vietnam.

This was hands down the best phỏ I had in Vietnam, I researched the best phỏ in Hanoi in Vietnamese and was directed to this restaurant (so you know the locals love it as well)! Beware that you order in line and wait for the bowl to come, pick it up, find a seat, and eat away. Don't forget to... More

We visited here four times during our stay in Hanoi. It was recommended to us by our hotel and also by another restaurant owner. It was always busy but you do manage to get a seat. The Pho is very good, big portion and the fried breadsticks are great too. Definitely recommend this place. The staff aren't very friendly however... More

This is a very genuine place with unfriendly staff, low plastic seats, grubby floors and cheap, delicious food. We visited the place twice on our visit to Hanoi. The first was genuinely the best Pho I've ever had, the second was pretty average (I think they were getting ready to close up). I'd definitely recommend it.

I came here with friends from Vietnam and Philippines after a tiring whole day seminar for a refreshing dinner. At first we were a bit discouraged with the queue, and the seemingly unavailable seating. But our Vietnamese friends who brought us there assured that the Pho is truly worth the wait. And indeed it was. Being from a country where... More

We arrived around 2PM in the afternoon, hungry and eager. This was on our list of must eats and conveniently across the street from our hotel. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the guy said they open at 6PM. Needless to say, we were elsewhere by then and did not match it back in time. However, the next morning, we woke up... More

Our second trip to Hanoi in 6 months and we had to come back to see if it wasn't just euphoric recall...it wasn't! It's so good! We were here last September and it was recommended to us by the hotel concierge at the JW Marriott. We were pleasantly surprised that it was this tiny little hole-in-the-wall-short-plastic-stool-on-the-street joint because the hotels... More
