We struggled to find meals at a decent price. We went due to the TripAdvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. It was very cheap, my partner both got beef noodle salads and pork rolls rolled in banana leaf. It was amazing and cost 196 000 dong for two beers, two beef noodles and pork rolls. Definitely go and don't judge... More

Five stars based on food. Closer to a street food stall than a restaurant. Some of the earlier photos don't belong to this place.

Went based on some great TA reviews. Hardly fine dinning, and they only do 1/2 dishes, but they do them incredibly well. Excellent beef salad, which was what 99% of people were tucking in to. Great flavours, and we have been back twice since! Seating is usually shoulder to shoulder with the locals, so is a great authentic experience! Good... More

Believe the hype! Place was packed when I arrived, luckily I was taking away as it was chucking it down and I CBA to hang around! An absolute stunner of a dish - perfect slippery noodles, deliciously cooked beef, fresh salad and topped with just the right amount of crunch. The broth was also faultless. Simple food cooked perfectly, with... More

You know its good because the locals eat here. Seating is a bit tight but service is quick and food is good. I'm assuming it's also affordable (I didn't pay so I'm not so sure!). They are good at what they do!

Bun Bo Nam Bo was the first restaurant we tried. It cost us 5usd. It was good and the service was also fast. My chicken and rice was good also. Can’t expect a lot when you pay 5$ for two adults!

I have tried Pho( beef noodle soup), Bun Bo Nam Bo was a different kind. it seems like they marinated beef, noodle and other things with the sauce which made out of fish sauce, vinegar, sugar. i think it was a good change.

came to this famous local noodle shop, doesn't have too much to choose from, but you can see almost everyone order the same thing: Beef Noodle Salad, Sour Meatball / port roll. the lady prepares all the food in the front of the shop, so you can see how it is made, the food is great with different sauce you... Because of trip advisor this joint is full of tourists. Good selection and decent prices, although higher obviously then the classic street food joints. Very happy with the meals we got.

Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.
