Too many tourist want to try this place but it's still keeping it's rustic and traditional way. I know traditional egg coffees and it's setup, but the unwillingness of the staff to explain the drink to a tourist kind of put me off. Anyways ,...More

We visited today and found the cute little hole in the wall cafe. We tried both the hot and cold versions of egg coffee and I liked them both but loved the cold version best. Would Definitely recommend to pop in for a visit and...More

Pretty average coffee and you can get the egg coffee at any cafe on the street. The staff seems very impatient and rude. Poor service don't recommend at all.

Egg coffee like a sweet and creamy cappacino....very tasty. This place is crowded cuz of it's high web rating. There are 10 + places nearby that serve it too, so I would try one of them.

Everyone should at least once try the famous egg coffee. Really delicious! The place itself is often overcrowded and not really comfortable. Cheap prices!

Egg Coffee is definitely a must try at Giang Cafe if you're in Hanoi. It's worth it but I must say that it's a little overrated.

Although “famous”, I don’t recommend this area. I thought the urine smell would be gone at the end of the cafe’s corridor entrance, but I was wrong. Whether it’s up or downstairs, the urine smell is everywhere! We left promptly without trying the egg coffee...More

Superb egg coffee and egg chocolate! Hot or cold, they were excellent and only costs VND25,000. The egg coffee with cinnamon was also good but at VND40,000.

I'm not sure if they add condensed milk to the egg coffee, what I know is they add the blended egg on top of the coffee. But maybe you can request them your specifications.

Description
Giang Cafe was founded by My Father ,Mr. Nguyen Giang in 1946, when he was working as a bartender for the famous five-star Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi hotel. Although the cafe has been relocated twice, its egg coffee recipe is almost the same as in its early days, with its chief ingredients being chicken egg yolk, Vietnamese coffee powder, sweetened condensed milk, butter and cheese.
