I went here with my friend for dinner. The amount of food is perfectly fit for 2 people, while other places for hot pot usually serve a larger quantity of food, though you can always order more. We got 1 hot pot, 2 plates of sliced beef, 2 big plates of various kinds of vegetables, e.g. lettuce, sweet cabbage, mint, cucumber, onion, etc, 2 packs of instant noodle, peanuts, tea..all for 200.000 VND (roughly 10$). The veggie was fresh, and the beef was ok, and I really like the broth with a light taste of sourness from slices of pineapple, lemongrass, fried tofu and some other ingredients. Although the eating process requires dipping things into the pot like all other kinds of hot pot, the last part is a bit different. You have to wrap the cooked beef and veggie in a rice paper and dip it in a small bowl of sauce before eating. The service is good. It's a family-run business, so the owners are very friendly and attentive to customers. They have a very cute 7 years old daughter as well. Although there is no English menu, which I already suggested the owner to make, don't be intimidated because you don't really have to order anything, as everyone gets the same set of dishes. Their son is a university student and can speak English, so he can help if you need to order something more (in our case it was their delicious tofu). All in all, great food, great service and very good price. A good place to experience authentic Vietnamese food and family atmosphere as well, as while eating we can observe the son helped his mom washing vegetables and the little girl resisted leaving the TV to do her homework!
