We had dinner here as part of an escorted Wendy Wu tour. The set dinner menu is an interesting mix of Vietnamese and western food, but was very well cooked and presented. The restaurant has a relationship with KOTO and some of its profit goes back to KOTO. It's good to know that a large tour operator like Wendy Wu... More

Ate here on our first night in Hanoi with high expectations from TA reviews. However, the lady "Maître D", whom we had read so much about, left very soon after we had arrived, presumably as we were the only patrons in the house. Her young staff were charming and anxious to try out their English skills and tried their best,... More

Went for dinner. This place is a few floors. The staff is enthusiastic, but not efficient. Had to remind them 4 times for Ice. Went with the waiters suggestions, only to find the most expensive items were sent to me. Good Food. However, location and decor based the prices are high. No wonder we were the only guests in the... Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pots 'n Pans. Lovely modern interior - we were sat upstairs, with a private table. Downstairs are larger communal tables. Not expensive in comparison to an Australian restaurant of a similar quality. Food was excellent. Service was on point. Wine list + Espresso martinis were thoroughly enjoyable.

A hidden gem where trainee chefs and waiters serve top quality Vietnamese food with a modern twist. Well worth a visit.

Perhaps one of the best meals we had in northern Vietnam, definitely involving the term 'fusion' in any description of the food served, with imaginative flavours, and very friendly service. Little atmosphere, sadly, as it was empty other than for our little group!

I came here in a group and we had a set meal so we had no say over the menu. Firstly, this is an initiative to get street children off the streets by training them in hospitality. This has to be applauded. The restaurant is cool, chic, modern and makes an impression. The waitress we had was fabulous - absolutely... More

For those with a social conscious (even if you don't)...this is a must...They are a training restaurant for disadvantegd youth, but the food was 6 stars as was the service. The food is a modified Vietnamese style/western...best meal on this trip so far...the flavours were out of this world....so pure...

Les't say 4 1/2 stars. Six of us went here for dinner. I very much enjoyed my meal. However, we were evenly split. Three of us liked it - a lot - and three of us loved it.

Pots ‘n Pans is about innovation. Vietnamese cuisine infused with an international flair. Our food takes the best ideas from modern Vietnamese and puts a new spin on them. The flavours are familiar but done differently. We don’t want to detract from what we believe to be the core of Vietnamese cuisine which is a big emphasis on fresh and local ingredients. However, we believe that the produce found in Vietnam should lend itself to a wider range of cooking techniques and presentation.Pots ‘n Pans is a dynamic partnership between Know One Teach One (KOTO) and its training program graduates along with its international partner; Small Giants. KOTO is a not-for-profit organisation in Vietnam that is changing the lives of street and disadvantaged youth through vocational training. Small Giants is a boutique Australian impact investment company that is dedicated to businesses that are changing the world.
