If you fancy some old school tradicional Vietnamese food, go to this restaurant. You can order several small portions of everything so you can taste different thighs. The beef rolls with mint leaves are a must! Don't be put off by the lack of westerners!

This restaurant was recommended in the DK Eyewitness Travel guide of Vietnam and Angkor Wat. However...... The restaurant decor is cold and unattractive, a huge upstairs room with bare walls. The floor, table cloths and glass table tops were dirty, The waiter was unable to advise which of the wines on the menu were white wine. The lemonade served to... More

Not really Hue food because you can see in their menu many dishes of Southern Vietnam. The food is good. The price is reasonable.

If you want to taste Hue traditional cakes or fresh noodle like banh loc, banh nam, bún bò ... it's not a good choice. This restaurant serves dishes for daily family lunch and dinner cooked in Hue recipes. Most of dishes are made from chicken, beef, pork and seafood. We ordered a basic Vietnamese lunch: a dish of stir-fried vegetable,... More

We tried to eat here but the experience was disconcerting from the start (and we live in Vietnam) We enter a cavernous 2nd floor space where four bored men usher us to a table in the corner (there were outside tables available on the balcony) and we were given menus. The place is large but untidy. An attractive bowl of... More

You see all those signs that advertise western cuisine? You're in Vietnam. Skip all that and go here. It is a great deal—like others have mentioned, you can choose between small and large portions so there's the option to sample multiple dishes. Between my partner and I, we ordered four plates plus fried rice (the best fried rice we've ever... More

It didn't seem like this restaurant had any recent reviews, so we thought it might be closed, but tried our luck anyway. We were very glad we did! Situated on the first floor of a corner building the restaurant overlooks a busy streetscape, which is ideal for watching whist enjoying a cold beer. To get to Ong Tao's stairs your... More

Me and my friend wanted to have lunch in a good place. This restaurant was recommended by Guide du Routard 2010 . Maybe it used to be good but when we went there, july 2012, we have been very disapointed. The menu is not the same for tourists as for vietnamese. We had expensive oily and bad food when the... The restaurant is on the first floor above what looks like a small garage forecourt but do not let this put you off. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is fantastic and priced substantially below the local competition. The decor is minimalist and the toiltes are functional but the food, quiet atmosphere and accommodating staff make it worth... More

This place is hidden on the first floor in a very touristy street. The simple, somewhat retrograde ambiance of this restaurant which looks like a socialist canteen of the 1950's is part of the charm here. Try, if you can, to get a table on the two little balconies. A great aspect of this restaurant is that you can choose... More
