Yes it is expensive. Yes the walls are covered with celebrities, politicians and wel known people who have eaten there before you. The food was gorgeous, the staff attentive, and the brandy afterwards finished it off! Only issue is too many cats in the area

Dolmama is popular with the rich and well-heeled. Pictures of famous visitors make the place both inviting and not at the same time. But do in and discover really delicious cuisine in a homey setting with friendly service.

Dolmama is a special treat in Yerevan. Went for a couples night out. It looks simple from the outside but once you enter the restaurant, you can tell it is a special place. The service was amazing from the beginning and the wait staff very helpful in choosing a perfect bottle of wine and our main dishes. On the more... More

This restaurant was very good when it was created, however constant attention from foreigners that periodically visited it gave it a strange unauthentic feel, it is like a French restaurant with smaller portions and high prices that adapts Armenian food to the french taste, service is very dull and slow and prices high

Some restaurants fade as time goes by, but Dolmama, this Yerevan classic only matures, with what is still the best food in Yerevan. While there are some misunderstandings on the menu - I wouldn't serve chicken curry on a green salad bed -, the kitchen is very reliable and serves sophisticated, modern Armenian dishes. Great selection of wines and desserts.... More

From the service to the food, the Dolmama is the best restaurant in the town. The tastiest food we have eaten in a long time. Everything you gonna eat is fresh and it just melt in your mouth. You gonna love the Armenia and Jerewan.

We came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. It looked quite nice outside, but unassuming. The restaurant was not busy, and we were able to sit by the window and enjoy the sunshine from outside. The interior is nicely decorated and the furniture is quite comfortable. The waiter spoke good English, and our orders arrived quite quickly. I ordered... More

Delicious and well balanced menu. Good variety of Armenian wine, which was a great discovery for me. Especial respect to the manager - Grigory (Գրիգոր), who is the very intelligent and erudite guy with open mind and always prepared to help attitude.

Description
A small, & upmarket restaurant in a homey atmosphere where you'll get personal attention, a lengthy wine list and some interesting local specialities. Its owner is an art collector, an American Armenian, who has returned to Yerevan. Probably you will meet him there, chatting with guests. The smallish restaurant features a laconic, well thought-out design. In warm weather, the meal can be savored on the cozy inner courtyard terrace, entwined by lush vines.
