This restaurant is located just off the fountain square. Like most hidden good places this too is underground. The restaurant has one family room and the main hall is divided into booths ensuring good privacy. Only thing off is the heating. It does get pretty chilly in there. The menu is available in Russian, Azeri and English. The one staff... More

A freind took me to this Georgian resturant. I have to say that at a first glance it looks kind of scary - underground, very old and not very pretty. However, one the food arrives you understand the charm. Every meal was perfect - prefectly seasoned, and beutifuly served. I really enjoyed myself and I recommend you'll try it as... More

First of all, they have booths, and each booth has a fan mounted on the wall four or five feet above the table. So the cigarette smoke gets sucked out and you never smell it. Second, the food was outstanding. The khachapuri was the best I've had (even in Georgia!), and they had another dish with chicken, cream and mushrooms... More

We never got our food as it took 1.5 hours to wait. We were fooled by "5 minutes" per each request. Personnel was indifferent with the case. One food ordered by my friend was too cold to eat and served in not traditional Georgian dish but in everyday plate. Totally disappointed :(

Georgian cuisine as in my memories at friends home in Tbilisi... You are not mistaken to taste the special combination of flavours like nuts and garlic, spicy soups and stews and the world famous Burjumi water or the strongest red wine you ever had. Great staff, family athmosphere.

The comment of the food not being worth it at all is fundamentally false. This restaurant was excellent. Truly excellent. It is located just off Fountain Square and is a quaint little place. Granted, it helped that the friends that I was visiting in Baku both spoke Russian, but the staff seems eager and willing to assist. The menu also... More

I always visit this place when want to eat something delicious from Georgian cuisine. Never got disappointed. You are also served homemade wine brought from Georgia. Personnel is friendly. Recommend to visit this place during cold weather to taste hot meals.

Georgian cuisine is one of the little known but best cuisines in the world, making use of all kinds of spices, fruit flavors, and ground nuts in their meat and bean heavy recipes, and I'm always excited to find a city that appreciates good Georgian food. So far, U Dali is the best and most reasonably priced Georgian restaurant I've... More
