Good food, good service, good value for money and very nice place. We sat outside which seemed nicer than indoors.

Romdeng is a restaurant that is operated by marginalize Cambodian youths - training them in a skill that will a give them the opportunity to find a career in the hospitality industry. All the food we ordered was excellent. if was fun to be a part of the service learning experience for the kids working there.

One of the best restaurants we visited in Phnom Penh. The food, service, wine, atmosphere were all spot on. The Amok was so delicious! Yum. I recommend booking in advance which you can do on their website as they get so busy and the first night we tried they were fully booked. Book online before 5pm on the day. The... More

During our week in Cambodia, this was our absolute favourite restaurant! The cocktails are to die for and the food absolutely delicious! Highlights include fish amok and crispy noodles with tofu. A must for any visitor to Phnom Penh. You do need to book though and that goes for its sister restaurant Friends, which we didn't get to visit as... More

Doubted a little due to the touristy vibe but we were impressed! Lovely food and cocktails, loved the fish amok. Crispy tarantulas are definitely worth a try as we actually ordered a second plate. Top notch service for us, our waiter looked after 9 of us well (didn't get the chance to know his name but a short, smiley man).... More

Enjoyed some delicious food here and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Went early (6ish) on a Friday evening and scored a lovely table with no reservation. Ordered the strawberry and peppercorn daiquiris which had a bit of a kick. I had the fish amouk in banana leaf which was really delicious - a tasty balance of flavours! My partner had the... More

Tasty food and elegant atmosphere at this mission-driven high-end restaurant. Expect to pay at least $15/person and enjoy some high-quality Khmer cuisine. Regarding specific dishes, seek out the fish amok (signature dish) but avoid the tarantula appetizer (good for the story but not much flavor). Come here ready to spend and enjoy yourself.

Very clean and professional. We had a lovely table not far from the pool. The cadre is beautiful. We got there early and got a table without a reservation (18:30) but by the time we left there was a line out the door. The food was very good. They take cards for payment.

Their signature cocktail, Pitish Pelika, is fab. It's so good I had it for dessert as well. Lots of amazing dishes to choose from. The restaurant is set is an old colonial type house and has a lovely garden where one can sit to eat.

I was on a group trip so 14 of us dined here in lovely surroundings and for a good cause. I shared Spring Rolls to start and two of our group chose Fried Tarantulas - I ate one leg! I then chose Fish Amok which was lovely.

Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.
