K'Nyay is down a quiet alley in the BKK area. Most tuk tuk drivers would not know, and google maps is your best bet. Walk in and feel yourself entering a novel set in the colonial times. The building itself is not large, but has a lovely colonial feel with palm fronds and bamboo blinds sheltering you from the dusty... More

If you're a vegetarian and you want to try the local food without trying to explain about fish sauce, chicken etc, this is your place. It's located in a guesthouse. Service is ok (not a lot of English but friendly). Our food was very tasty. An unpretentious place with unpretentious prices. Good value for money.

I live near this restaurant and finally found the time to pop in for lunch. The menu is interesting - Khmer food with both vegetarian and non veg options. The decor is gorgeous - colonial meets SE ASIAN. I'm definitely coming back for happy hour in the terrace!

I'm always looking for a good vegetarian resto in each city we visit. The hubs is a meat eatter, so if it's veggie, it HAS to be good and this was. We made the walk to K'NYay and it was worth it. The food was super yummy, presentation A+. Homey feel makes it a super comfy spot to relax and... More

We were hesitant to go to thus restaurant after the last two reviews. However, we decided to go after our visit to the genocide museum and we didn't regret it. The restaurant is a 5 min walk from the museum in a small street (what makes it quiter than others). The restaurant was empty and seemed closed, but the waiter... More

Nice little terrace place. Very quiet and secluded, only a couple of people there when we arrived. Food was okay. Nothing amazing and the portion sizes were a bit small for 5 dollars a plate. Left still a bit hungry. Nice to find a veggie place but really nothing to really write home about.

We were so looking forward to visiting this restaurant due to the excellent reviews and because we really need some healthy food after months on the road. Unfortunately when we arrived (7pm on Tuesday night) the whole place was deserted: no staff, no customers, and no tables set for dinner. We weren't even sure we were in the right place,... More

Lovely restaurant with friendly atmosphere. Fantastic vegan menu and well priced. Fresh dishes that hit the spot. Be sure to make a night of it and check out the cute movie theatre next door!

An evening stroll took us down a bit of a back alley kind of street, but it was worth the detour. Beautiful old house, with the restaurant on the second floor, with a terrace eating area with an evening breeze. Service friendly, not over-bearing. The menu is diverse and offers vegetarian/vegan eaters great choice. Each choice we made was fresh... More
