I often eat there, the food is good, price correct (5/6$/head), we are always welcome and the owner is Khmer and French.

A definitely simple, traditional restaurant owned and ran by the French-Khmer couple. Large choice of dishes, pretty good at low price. Or stop by for a beer ($0.55 a draft) and chat with Jean-Marc, the owner.

Never judge a book by the cover. The food is a fusion of Asian and European, very reasonably priced and delicious. The French speaking owner is an extremely welcoming "patron" and his staff friendly and efficient. Sat outside overlooking the river promenade. Very pleasant way to spend evening.

We stumbled across Taboo and rather liked the look of it from the outside for a spot of lunch. We were not disappointed. We had an excellent selection of local Khmer dishes and a decent glass of wine to wash it down. Well priced, beautiful food in an authentic setting - we were delighted. Thanks for looking after us so... More

I've checked out several restaurants including this one walking along the riverfront road. This one's menu looked the most appealing, especially since they didn't seem to charge New York prices. I couldn't find what I was looking for on the extensive menu so I asked the owner whether I could get fish curry and a glass of white wine. I... More

This predominately French restaurant (or upmarket cafe may be more accurate) is family run and offers a mix of French and Khmer dishes. A particular feature is the eccentric master of the house, who offers good theatre! We particularly enjoyed the Amok Fish, although the desserts were a bit of a disappointment - way too sweet. Remarkable value at around... More

Absolutely AMAZING food here! Arrived with a party of 5 and we all had a mix of Thai/Viet food. Every one of us had outstanding food and are already talking about a return trip in the next couple of days. Definitely up there as one not to miss. And our waitress was so lovely.

So this place boasts French, local, Thai food. Based on the baguette from hell, using 2 day old bread I'm not going back to chance anything else on the menu! The picture showed half a baguette but I got double the staleness. The filling was a slither grey ham and burger cheese... This would have only have made the bread... More
