Khop Chai Deu is centrally located, close to Nam Phu. They have two levels, including indoor seating. The servers are pleasant and happy to engage with you. Pleasant spot to have a couple of drinks or grab some good local food.

Good service. Cold Spring rolls were fabulous. Crispy fried pork stir fry was just greasy fried pork bellies.

We went for breakfast at this restaurant because it looked busy, and for good reason. The tables were clean, the staff were friendly and the food was good and well priced.

I liked this place so much we went twice in the three days that we were in Vientiane. I think they have live music every night. They do a mixture of Thai and American songs. The bar is outside when you first come in, we didn't sit there because it was HOT! We sat inside where there was air conditioning.... More

a popular spot and removed from the Laos bustle. Food is very acceptable but not exciting, beer is as beer usually is. However the 'artificial' atmosphere is not to my liking because it is not the real deal. Some consider it a sanctuary, to others it is a spectator gallery!

Drank here for a few beers most evenings I was in Vientiane. It's a large premises set over three floors. Live music most nights I was here inside, large screens showing sporting events around the outside main bar. The sports being shown doesn't dominate the feel of the place though. First night I was here I ordered a few large... More
