This was our last dinner in UB after a week of touring. The food and service were prompt and courteous. Decent beer list and a variety of food options. We had sampled plenty of Mongolian fare and decided to have fun by ordering all "Mexican" cuisine as advertised on the menu. As expected some of the interpretations landed while a few missed the intended mark. It all tasted fine but gave us a chuckle when it came out. Don't expect tacos when you order tacos, more of a tostado and flour, not corn. Guacamole is just avocado but the pico de gallo was almost spot on. Salmon ceviche was also passable. Overall fine and well worth stopping by for a meal. Our guide went Mongolian and was pleased so that test was passed.

Delicious food and good to have platters for larger group like we had. Some things weren’t available but there was enough variety and enjoyable dining experience

Has been some time since our last visit, this one was exemplary. I ordered the pepper steak, medium, the other half ordered the chicken parmesan. The steak was exactly to order, the side of saute vegetables fresh and crispy, could not fault the meal in any way. On the other side of the table the chicken parmesan and accompanying pasta were demolished without any hesitation. Big thumbs up, well done guys.

Great ambiance and food was great! Servings were huge and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the pork chop with peach bourbon sauce and my husband really enjoyed the lamb shank. Highly recommended!

I have visited UB a handful of times since 2007. And each time I visit, I come to have a meal at Silk Road. Excellent meat at reasonable price! At the recent visit (Aug 2019), I ordered 1/2 plate of BBQ combo where you can sample the various meat, chicken, mutton that they sell. The meat is soft and delicious as I remember them.
The service was perfect as well.

There is no reason to go to this place unless you are going on a group tour. It was stifling hot when the weather was cool outside, and it was so noisy that we couldn’t have a conversation. The Coke Zero was very warm, and the meal was inedible for anyone who does not like hard fried food and frozen french fries. The chicken cordon Blue was unrecognizable, just hard fried breading on both sides and no meat on the inside.

Our tour group had dinner at this restaurant. Everything was acceptable, but none of the food really stood out. We cannot comment on prices since the meal was included as part of our tour. The servings tended to be large, and the service was quite good.

For somewhere with a good reputation, had a shockingly woeful experience today, seems the boss may be away! Rock hard bread rolls served which were clearly days old. Despite being the only table in we waited 90 minutes for food, and were brought a bland pizza with raw floury dough, and fries which were cold and chewy. Friends also suffered with the steak - one which was raw and one which was overcooked. Not the experience one expects when paying premium prices. The water was good though.

Very nice, comfortable atmosphere. Food on point, menu has new special everyday, short and sweet varieties of meals. However most of all great service in Mongolian,Spanish,English languages.

This place is only a few minutes from my hotel (blue sky). I came here for a late lunch and there was only one table occupied. The lamb chop was good and so is the beer. This restaurant is also just beside the choijin Lama Temple so perfect either before or after visiting the temple.

Found bits of pork in the Amatriciana pasta that was highlighted as a vegetarian choice. The manager said Thur menu had a mistake. I wonder what other mistakes this crew commits.

Brought a group of ten here for lunch. The menu was eclectic and fun. The staff could not have been any more attentive and fun. We honestly weren’t sure what to expect when it came to Mongolian cuisine, and the tourist fusion the Silk Road offers up satisfied everyone in our group.
