This is my favorite vegetarian restaurant in Mongolia. They have a few restaurants in the countryside but they are hard to find. I recommend that you buy vegetarian Mongolian food. It tastes great! Visit my Tik Tok page at mongoliafoodie for my recommendations for food...in Ulaanbaatar.More

My family and I went to this popular Ulaanbaatar vegan restaurant on a week day for lunch. Our food took about 45 minutes to arrive but was worth the wait. We had the nuggets, burger and fish steaks all of which were delicious. My only...suggestion to the kitchen would be to ensure that the food arrives at the table still hot.More

After all the meat we got offered on our trip we really enjoyed the vegan option in Ulanbataar and couldn’t get enough of it. The burger we had was really good and the chocolate-blueberry cake was delicious!

Me and my vegan friend went there with my local friend. Great place to try traditional Mongolian food vegan alternatives. The food was delicious, reasonably priced (I would even say pretty cheap). As it is a lovely little place with no available parking around (...kind of makes sense as it is in very centre of the city) and one of the famous plant based restaurants it was very crowded. The food took at least an hour, moreover half of the food was already cold. So I had to ask for reheat. The service is pretty nice, and must try the Khuushuur and Banshtai tsai!More

This restaurant is very close to the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Art, just cross the street. It's hidden gem to us as we almost missed it. The interior was very homey and cozy, food in very affordable price yet excellent quality (it's bargain to me!)....As Mongolian food are pretty meaty, it's nice to have high quality veggie food once in awhile. Apart from healthy salads there are some interesting dishes like mock fish, mock steak and mock chicken. The smoothies are very yummy.More

Choosing the food was a challenge because the menu was only in Mongolian but the food was tasty and plentiful.

So great to have vegan versions of Mongolian dishes. I went back three days in a row. After days of only meat dishes in more rural areas, it was a happy relief to find this place.

There is no pretentions to style here but there is a good selection of vegetarian dishes available. Service was a little slow but the food was worth waiting for. The restroom facilities are best avoided!

This Loving Hut definitely compares favorably to my local one in San Diego, CA, with the added bonus of vegan Mongolian dishes. There are some favorites there, and my daughter loved the gyoza. I had the beet salad and Mongolian noodle soup, which was perfect...for a cold afternoon. It wasn't too crowded when we were there (lunchtime on a Saturday), and it's location across the street from one of our favorite museums (Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum) means we'll be going back for sure. They also sell vegan products from a refrigerator near the cash register.More

Wonderful food that even carnivores can love! The burrito, veggie burger, and the summer salad are excellent. As a couple that has eaten out 3-4 nights per week for the past 19 months while in UB, my wife I think this is the best restaurant...value in Mongolia.More
