A warm friendly place which serves the finest Bread that I tasted in Uzbekistan. And remember to taste the local Kharbooza - musk melon. It is out of this world.

Entering the restaurant along a waterfall or gushing water with a spray of fine droplets of water, sitting next to a canal/river for a meal; an experience by itself. In the summer heat, this place provided a breath of fresh cool air. The bread & food were freshly prepared and tasty, though not cheap. The outdoor dancing stage is great... More

‘Sarshara’ means waterfall or Cascade in Uzbek. I would give top marks to this restaurant just for its location. The place has been created surrounding a man made cascade with the water spray for sure creating a cooling effect under the hot Tashkent sun. The restaurant is quite an expensive one and local people come here for a meal on... More

Along side a river (or canal?) that is forced into a "waterfall" this is a place locals go for a special occasion. You'll see them here, dressed up and drinking vodka, watching the floor show in the evening. We went for a meal on our last night in town and it was fun.

On our last night in town we followed a suggestion given by our hotel receptionist (always a danger, since they tend to send you to places catered for westerners, while all you want to get is a taste for the local food and atmosphere). We arrived to Sharshara restaurant (meaning waterfall) and we were surprised by the setting and the... More

This place was gorgeous and it was nice to see in the middle of Tashkent but after ordering they forgot half of our groups food! And the food left something to be desired. May go back for the french fries!

This is a simple, but nice restaurant next to an artificial waterfall. Wide selection of excellent Uzbek food, very good service. Worth the taxi ride.

I have been in the place for dinner with three locals. Surprisingly that my colleague (originally from Tashkent) has not heard about the place. The concept is really great. The restaurant by each side of the river with waterfall. The place was packed during the evening of the working day. We had some salads, kebabs (lamb) with two bottles of... More
