We walked to this restaurant (15 mins) from our Lotte city palace hotel. Good options for vegetarians, fresh lavash rolls with chakka (yoghurt with greens and garlic), decent "achik" (spicy sauce) but with slightly sweet taste, excellent delicately made potato ravioli and very good lentil soup. There were many other vegetarian items on the menu. The waitress is a little... More

Sunduk is a lovely place to visit for a weekend lunch. It's a little pricey but has a varied menu, and is a beautiful surrounding. Nice for dates, or lunch with friends. The ravioli is very good, as is the soup in a bread bowl. Not somewhere you'd go every week, but nice for a special occasion, and quite unlike... More

It's a small restaurant, nicely decorated with friendly staff. Food is Russian and local. Food is served quickly and is tasty.

I like this place and often go there during lunch time. The cusine is great, one can select from wide range of salds, soups, pasties, cold and hot dishes. Desserts are also wonderful. Coffee lovers may taste there Nespresso. Highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner or just a cup of coffee for a business meeting.

Very cozy small european/russian restaurant in the center of the city. This place is popular within local art people, small friends group and lunch breaks. The food is very delicious, taste of home made. Staff are fabulous, very friendly. They can give valuable advises on where to go and what to visit. Prices are very affordable. Worth to visit.

Sunduk has a very nice interior design and good-looking menu, but unfortunately this is where it stops. The waiters don't usually smile, their business lunch is very repetitive and if you choose something à la carte, you can wait up to 40 minutes. The food itself is comfort food : meat, potatoes, soups. They have real coffee in capsules but... More

We eat vegetarian and found plenty of tasty options here. Although on the expensive side, all of the food was very fresh and tasty.

Sunduk is a small cozy restaurant in the neighborhood of streets with embassies. The restaurant is not noticeable, because it is not on the ground level but has stairs in front of the entrance. We entered rather early, there were no other guests. We chose a table in the front part with about 6 other tables. There is also a... More

After travelling round Ubekistan for 2 weeks, we craved food that was simple and a restaurant that had a good ambience. Sunduk delivered. The location is slightly obscure but easily walkable from Amir Temur Square. Sunduk offers nice simple food at a reasonable price.

It's a little steet cafe, food ok but the same as many other places. It's location is central and that's the best element. Has run out of beer ...service ok but nothing special. I think visitors to Tashkent see it as a quaint place...it is but that's about all it is
