We chose this restaurant as the place for our celebratory last night in Uzbekistan. For anyone new to Jewish/Ukrainian/Russian cuisine like me this was just a fun experience. Made even better by being able to join in the celebration of a family birthday at the next table. Just a wonderful night. Good food and drink and well served.

Wonderful restaurant with Russian & Jewish cuisine tribute by decoration to Ostap Bender – one of central characters novell “12 chairs” by Ilf & Petroff . “12 chairs” is conveniently located in city’s center within a few steps away from Russian embassy. They serve authentic Jewish cuisine at very attractive prices. The exceptional fish as well as the meat dishes.... More

Description
He was our guest. He is a famous gambler,
Adventurer. His name is Ostap Bender.
Time and again, always risking his head,
He sought a dozen chairs, seldom getting ahead.
But never ever did he try to cheat
Or disappoint the Caravan he loved,
Respected; though he did not find,
While sat and dined in our restaurant,
That sought by him the lucky chairs are
So calmly furnished in our Caravan.
