We went there with expectation but when we saw the menu we were shocked , limited selection of the food , and too expensive . We paid 10TL for beef in the noodle but there are only very small portion of meat ! Waitress wears really dirty clothes and dirty fingernails , even dipped her finger in our food !!!!!... More

This restaurant was a great welcome change after suffering 8 days of Turkish Food that I didn't like at all. Every hotel or restaurant that served Turkish food was always similar and tasted quite blant. I had lost some weight during these 8 days but did gain some weight back at the Seoul restaurant. The beef and chicken dishes that... More

I am glad we went here at the END of our trip rather than the beginning. We passed by the restaurant repeatedly during our first days in istanbul in sultanahmet and thought it was a curious thing to have a korean place in the middle of restaurant row. We are also from LA, where there are extremely good Korean restaurants.... More

We need a change of diet and this place was close by. An uninspiring facade and a cafeteria style interior, but the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. the only other diners on a wet and windy knight were some Korean students and they were eating things not on the menu. very authentic and a welcome change. Highly recommednded

The food was ok with good banchan but the women's bathroom was filthy. It smelled very bad and I almost threw up when I entered and immediately left. The poor state of the bathroom does not speak well to the cleanliness of the restaurant.

We were there early on 2 Jan 2013 and so did not has problem with the service. Sure they do have tour group and they are in a tourist place and that's to be expected. Food was good with fresh fish. We asked for a taxi since we were tourist and they oblige willingly.

The food is decent, but what takes it from "average" to "poor" is the price and atmosphere. The restaurant decor is very elegant, but theY had a big screen TV blaring American pop music videos at 8:00 PM as we ate dinner. Service was slow and impersonal. I would not recommend unless you're desperate for Korean/Chinese (both are served).

After a week of Turkish food, we were in real need of something different. We stumbled across Seoul restaurant and saw lots of tour groups coming out of it so we were a bit dubious. However, it was so good! It was so fresh and delicious and we loved all the side dishes and the soup that was complimentary. Will... More

Was staying in Istanbul for the week and was excited to see the Seoul Korean Restaurant in the neighborhood. Was very disappointed with it. Food was not that good, meats were really dry and food was flavorless. Service was pretty slow as they seem to cater to large bus groups and let couples or individuals fall through the cracks. Was... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
