This is where the locals eat and we came across it after shopping at the Grand Bazaar. A typical hole in the wall, but no nonesense gosh darn real good Turkish food! We sad by the sidewalk with those low tables and chairs and was quite an authentic experience. They cook your food right after you order it so it... More

We were tired and hungry after a morning wandering around the Grand Bazaar and just wanted a quick, easy, stress-free snack. This place just hit the spot! No nonsense, no questions, just straight-up good fare. We had a lamb "kebap" in flat bread with spices, salad and onion and it was delicious, quick, easy and cheap.

Having eaten a fair amount of kebab in Istambul I can happily say this was by far the best. Moist and tender Adana (lamb and beef), perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spicy heat and served in soft, floury flat bread with fresh salad, all washed down with an ice cold coke. Fast, healthy and delicious. Puts snack... More

Flavorful, cheap eat, fresh. My husband is a HUGE fan and wouldn't mind going there for all his meals. It's in a good location too, near the Grand Bazaar so if you need a bite after shopping this is the place.

There's not much to be said for ambiance, but this is about the food, isn't it?! Just show somebody the pic of the entrance and find it. It's right outside a door of the Grand Bazaar.

My rule of thumb when traveling is eating where locals eat. My wife and I currently in istanbul for first time and we love kebabs. Our search came about by asking a local street vendor whom sold us bread. He told us to go here. We couldn't see it at first but sure smelled it. Heavenly. And mostly locals order... More

We stayed in Istanbul for one week and tried a lot of kebabs!!! But this was the best place. It is located very close to the grand bazar, but it is still a very local place. The cost of a kebab is 6-7 TL (it depends of the bread you choose). So you pay a little bit more (since you... More

Walked and wondered from the grand bazaar down to the spice bazaar and noticed this kebab shop full of local Turks ordering food. So I gave it a try and went back everyday for a kebab! Tried all their kebabs and the chicken was the best. They even have a small seating area upstairs. Price is reasonable for an expensive... More
