Our guide took us here on our first night. The service was prompt and we all had an enjoyable meal. The servings were of average size but certainly not large. At the end we were given a complimentary tea and baklava. A quick joke and we were on our way.

We ate here on our first night in Istanbul, and it was good enough to warrant a repeat visit. Everyone was quite friendly, and the food was quite good, prepared in traditional Ottoman style. It provided a perfect introduction to Turkish cuisine and culture.

We were adviced to go to Deja-vu but ended in New Hatay, which is basically the same restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and excellent Turkish meals. Personnel is attentive and the food portions are big, unlike in most of Turkish restaurants. We will go back and try some different dishes.

We arrived at istanbul at midnight. We were hungry and so we went for a little walk and there we've found an opened restaurant at 2 am. The service was quick, the waiters very nice, and the food amazing especially the hummus. We ate outside in november thanks to the heats. To do absolutely when in istanbul

I can't believe that I finally found you. Visited many restaurants in two years but I couldn't find any place with such a yummy food. They are having best food ever: grilled lamb chops, chicken and fish . Baklava and tea was always free. Prices very affordable comparing to others restaurants.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
