I was tired of Turkish cuisine so wanted to try something different. Went to this restaurant to see if i have any luck with decent food. Well i would say food is not that great but not disappointing as well. Kimchi was good , other than that did not like anything. Prices are on a higher side.

It might be mean to say so coz Korean ppl around us seemed to enjoy the food. We ordered a kimchi beef pot for 2 (60tl for medium size). We waited for quite a while but what finally came was a pot full of kimchi and tofu... There was hardly any meat inside, only a few slices of... PORK! Yes... More

Oh my gosh, such good Korean food! Friendly staff and great location add to the 5 star rating but I'd give this place 5 stars for the bibimbap alone...not to mention the bulgogi and the barbeque.

Place have 2 part, restaurant and karaoke. We went to downstairs for karaoke. Personel there is very rude. Musics are old and sound system is terrible. We hear our sound and mic almost doesn't work.

I had my first Korean food at Taksim Karaoke Bar and really liked it. It felt quite authentic, not like as if they tried to adapt the food to Turkish taste. They serve six types of side dishes (banchan) with the main course, which are all good. As main course, I had dak galbi, that is stir fried chicken and... More

Really surprised at how good the food was. Best meal I have had in long time. We can recommend the haemul pajeon (seafood pancake) and particularly the bulgogi (marinated beef) and kimchi jigae (spicy stew). Side dishes and rice provided with meal.

Been there for the korean spicy fried chicken. The Turkish waiters speak Korean! A little bit expensive, but dishes are really big. A very nice place next to Taksim place.

Quite authentic Korean restaurant. Well, they only have gas barbecue and they have chairs. But these are the only issues making it different to a restaurant in Korea. Friendly staff, food is perfect, and prices reasonable. Also many korean customers. I enjoyed the time here and I will definitely come back!

Authentic Korean BBQ at its best right off Taksim Square. For those looking for it, just keep an eye out for Nippon Hotel nearby and find the street facing the big square in the direction of Gezi Park.

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
