Bad Service, terrible cappuccino and waited 40 minutes for my breakfast, which was just a scrambbled egg and toast... Pricing to high!

I had a dry meet sandwithch with cheese and tomate, but I finally got a tomate sandwith with few cheesse and untiticible dry mert. I thought maybe they were especialiced un coffe so... More

We stopped to drink a coffe and even eat a dessert in this cafe during our last day in instanbul. The place is cozy but We Don't recommend this place. We ordered after many difficulties (due to the fact that none of the staff talked english) two capuccinos , a hot chocolate a single espresso a piece of rasberry cheesecake... More

We went here on a heavy raining day. It was full and we couldn´t reach none of the employees. After a little waiting we were finally told that there was not any available table, nothing more. We insisted and someone from the staff said we cold have a table in 5 minutes. Well I'm glad we did it. The Breakfast... More

A place with sweet atmosphere, especially these days, because of the festive decor! A small but beautiful cafe, located at Karakoy, in a steet among other coffee places. Music was very nice, the service quick and the prices normal

Overhyped venue. Service forgot to bring a meal and coffee and lacks english. Food was ok but considering the huge number of better breakfast places, i dont think i will return. Further there was no soy milk available.

Very nice location, in a cute little street, with great decoration and atmosphere. Overpriced and very average breakfast, proportions not that generous, the coffee was ok though, but nothing special. Staff a bit indifferent. Definitely not the best breakfast I've had in Istanbul

Walking on the street,we met this bar.It attracted us by the very special design, a sort of "industrial art".We had some of us beer, others wine.Service is quick and very well done. The sound ambience very good, lounge music.Free Wi-Fi.Prices,because the bar is close to tourist areas, little high. We enjoyed the place.

My wife and I stopped by this cafe in Karakoy - it was a cute place and the service was fine however the prices were a bit ridiculous. I am not George Costanza by any means, but to pay 20 TL for a toast is robbery....I mean come on - it's cheese and bread. Luckily my wife had her 'shoe... More

Staying in Karakoy

Neighbourhood Profile
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions, such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..
