We tried Nakka as we were staying nearby and really loved it. There's a nice relaxed atmosphere and a great casual terrace. The food was great! And pretty large portions. We would definitely recommend it and would go back.

We were lucky to be here the moments when hot coffee and warm place needed: late evening and during rain. Very friendly personnel, beautiful interior and tasty coffee and herbal tea.

My boyfriend and I were looking for an authentic place to have dinner when we found Nakka, a bit by chance. We definitely don't regret going there! One of the most beautiful spaces in Istanbul. Located in a small street in Galata zone this restaurant offers authentic home made turkey dishes. Mante was my favorite along with the lentils soup. Affordable place, good value of food, clean, fast service, cozy ambiance and u get a blanket when its windy

I and a coworker had dinner at Nakka. Reason was that we lived nearby. But the food is excellent and the service friendly. Definitely worth a try if you are near Galata.

We have been established in 2010. We are located in an exotic and central region of Istanbul, mainly near Galata tower. Our bistro/restaurant has 3 floors including a terrace. We are serving breakfast/brunch lunch and also dinner, our cuisine includes mainly local food, mediterranean food and also special Greek dishes. We also have a large vegetarian menu.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
