I was taken here by a friend from Anatolia, and I absolutely loved the food. I found many options even as a vegetarian. It's for sure the restaurant I liked best in Istanbul. It is very busy and our table was in the street. But...More

It is expensive that is the truth however the food is really good and one thing you have to try is their Fig Dessert "incir muhallebisi". All natural - no suggar added

Normal Turkish food, very hot place. They have AC but switched OFF. Menu is terrible and waiters do not speak English. I don't recommend it.

We went to this restaurant in our previous trip to Istanbul. We decide to go back since we liked it so much. It didn't disappoint us. It was worth taking the ferry from Besiktas just to taste the delicious food. Recommended.

An incredible dinner that stimulated the taste, sight and smells. Staff was very helpful in guiding us through the evening's choices. The stuffed artichoke hearts with lamb mincemeat and mint was most memorable.

Surrounded only by locals and great authentic food! I was told - by that time - that the cousine was kurdish. In any case, it was great of every aspect!!!

What a great place! Ciya has three locations: two on the sea-side of the alley and one across the street, on the land-side, which is where I ate. There's a meze bar where you can fill your own plate and then they charge you by...More
