This place is the best for turkish delight, bakhlava. Service is not very good, but ok. Here is not for long stays. Because there are many people and it is noisy. I wold recommend Bakhlava with milk instead of nuts. It is not that heavy sweet.

Very fresh pastry, with good ingredients and really tasty! The prices are good and the place is clean. If you are not used to the flavour, it might feel to you a little bit heavy!

I have high standards for baklava. This place is great. We tried a large assortment of flavors. I liked the classic pistachio the best. Definitely worth a visit!

Definitely the best baklava. This is the only place in Istanbul, no branches. Avoid Sunday it is really crowded.

Busy at anytime of the day with people for all walks of life, man or women. It must be good. I'm amazed how some can eat so many pieces in one sitting. It's still too sweet for me... but you'll always think of coming back.

Staying in Karakoy

Neighbourhood Profile
Karakoy
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions, such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..
