We used to love ASC since its opening and this is the first branch. We loved Nisantasi branch more and continuously visited for a time period; but unfortunately it closed down. Once the decoration with all the ancient sport equipment was distinctive. ASC is not a trendy place anymore; but mostly visited by regulars to have a peaceful meal and... More

I have come here more than i can remember in the past 20 years. It is one of the true original locations in Istanbul which has not lost a bit of its taste, charm and ambience. Regardless of the hour, the staff is friendly but not over interested, the meals are very tasty and original, plus they tailor every dish... More

We love this cafe mainly because it is one of the most dog friendly places you can visit in İstanbul. Waiters are very polite and they allways bring a cup of water for your pooch. My personal favoritte is their pepperoni pizza with delicious thin dough and just the perfect amount of cheese on it. We have been eating at... More

I'm a huge fan of their Nisantasi Branch, but unfortunately it ran out of business and is closed it's now been 3 weeks. One of the best quality service I've experienced in İstanbul. Very kind and concerned waiters smiling all the time and gladly helping you with your decision making. The open space offers a quiet ambience, there are 12... More

This is an amazing cafe with a fabulous atmosphere and delicious food. The small interior has a great authentic decoration with dimmed lights and lovely sports merchandise details. Wonderful place for home office people as a peaceful place place with great music and sports background on plasmas. Food is the beat in town. Do not leave istanbul if you have... More

This cafe is one of the best cafes in this area. Its waiters are kind and friendly, the foods are more delicious than most of the cafes around. Nice place to chat and relax..

We went here for the cucumber milkshake, I guess it had some of the following ingredients: Cucumber, vanilla, mint, lemon ice cream. Absolutely fantastic stuff almost worth the taxi ride up to Etiler itself. The place is also very nice and laid back, looks like a little piece of a traditional British village pub in a quite high end Istanbul... More

Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
