Cuppa is an unassuming place, but the food and staff are wonderful. Everything is home made with very high quality ingredients, and charming little touches (like delicious olive oil with your bread, pink himalayan salt on the table). The breakfast is the best around, with great coffee and freshly made juices. The eggs benedict is probably one of the best... More

Stopped in here for a bite of breakfast and had the most fantastic coffee and a selection of bread and jams. The walnut and grape bread was simply AMAZING

It was nice small cafe. Breakfast was delicious. Staff helpful and friendly. We enjoyed. Beginning of January 2016 was crazy cold in Istanbul, so, it was nice to visit such warm atmosphere place. Different kinds of food in their menu. Everyone can find something for his own taste

Cuppa offers an excellent breakfast selection, rich in taste and local ingredient. They make their own bread and pastry and make an effort to go organic. Definitely get their standard breakfast; though their egg dishes are all very good. This place used to be opened under a different owner but then closed for a couple of years. The new place... More

Cool, relaxed spot in Cihangir, the choice of the local and expat post-yuppie yuppies. Juices, smoothies, mix of Turkish and European food, nice decor, a bit self-satisfied but still polite ("me, designer labels, no ...", or even "pretentious - moi?") but still well worth a linger.

We love the kebabs but eating here is a treat for the inner self. Really affordable too with meals starting at 20 tl. Delicious healthy salads and shakes and a lot of vega of non-vega options in a laid back atmosphere accompanied by Massive Attack on the speakers

Nicest breakfast so far in Istanbul. Yummy fresh juices and delicious omelette. Also very good service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
