We camr to the restaurant for a family lunch on a Friday noon. We were four people. Place was packed with people but it wasnt bad, ot was happy. The nostalgic atmosphere of joy is worth noting. The food was just perfect! Great chopped liver and stunning Iker. All just perfect. Eventually we left full and happy at the price... More

We have wanted to go with grandpa for years, every time we passed through Haifa, and somehow never made it. Sadly Alush passed away 2 months ago, and we went without him. So much fun, memorabilia and crazy art photos guitars and drums hanging from the ceiling... obvious "regulars" who come togther every friday and share excellent old fashioned food,... More

I returned to the place many years after my last visit. As years have gone by, the place is pretty much the same. The food is as good as I remembered (and yes, they still make the steak the same way!), the opening courses are as good as I remembered, and the Friday late noon atmosphere is the same. We... More

This place is one of the oldest in Haifa. It serves Eastern European food (not Russian), which tastes great. All of their dishes are simply amazing (short for the fresh vegetables salad), and the beer list is fantastic to boot! However, this place being so popular, they don't really care for their customers because they know they will never run... More

Located near the port of Haifa, you can find this 1963-based bar that serves East European food (Romanian mainly), along with an impressive alcohol menu with beers from across Europe. Pros: Great food, Great booze Cons: very small space, noisy, sometimes you have to wait in line.

Came with family and friends for lunch, had spare ribs, calamari and shrimp, two meat dishes, various salads and more. Food was delicious (service can improve...) we'll be back for sure.
