Nice place to drink a beer and eat some appetizers on Friday night. We took an awesome one called "pastilikos" and a Malka beer. The waitress was also very kind and pacient (explaining to us, in English, almost all the dishes).

Excellent food and service in very pleasant atmosphere. Walked in without reservation early and were immediately seared. Best dinner we had in Jerusalem! Interesting menu and nice portions. A little expensive but easily worth the price.

As the streets started to empty on Friday afternoon it was a great treat to stumble upon Barood. Very nice atmosphere, friendly service. We loved the herring appetizer so much that we ordered two. Great wine
