I am not a huge fan of vegetarian/vegan restaurants. Te'enim is an execption. Housed in the quaint Confederation House-Behind the King David Hotel with unobstructed views of the Old City of Jerusalem, this restaurant offers a variety of foods all served hot and fresh. The staff was friendly, and the food was very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

We had a beautiful vegetarian\ dairy breakfast in a quiet atmosphere. Hide in mishkenot shaeananim with a view to the old city, this is a place you want to start a quite, healthy and relax day.

I had dinner at this restaurant 2 weeks ago and the experience was very poor. Cold atmosphere and at first we were the only ones there even though we came at 20:30 which is usually a busy time for restaurants. The menu is pretty short and doesn't offer a lot to choose from. The main course was ok-minus but the... More

We went there after the visit to old city. we were five of us. service was good, somewhat difficult getting the wi-fi out of them. we ordered soup for staters and then everyone ordered a main dish. most all dishes came out quick and good. however, i found a small steel fiber ,from a scrubbing sponge in the soup and... We held a private party on a Friday morning. The private room was light and airy and perfect for our needs. The staff was excellent, and took care of all of our requests, and we didn't feel their presence at all during the program. The food was diverse and presented beautifully. The salads were tasty, although the main dishes could... More

I hosted there friends from TLV. His wife is vegan and they think JLM is in heaven! In a way they're right, but even in heaven, food is an essential. I reserved a table at the window, right in front of the walls of the Old City. Food is Mediterranean, light and healthy. Views are mesmerizing... Staff is charming with... More

The setting is excellent near the city centre yet in a quiet wooded and green area facing the Old City Walls of Jerusalem. A gorgeous location with a shady outside courtyard for a small family celebration - indoor and outdoor seating. The food was vegetarian standard fare but very fresh, plenty of variety, filling and above all healthy.

Disclaimer: Had no idea this was a vegetarian restaurant, and don't care now. If you want delicious food in a beautiful setting... you should come to Te'enim! After a Bat Mitzvah at the Western Wall, our group of 12 headed to Te'enim for a celebratory lunch. Our guidehad never been there before. When she called the restaurant to ask what... More

A modest place with excellent food, helpful waiters and a view of the walls of the Old City lit up at night.
