Well located in the Artist Colony near Teddy Park and the Old City, a short walk from the Mamilla, Dan Citadel and King David Hotels, it is busy and popular so reservations are required. We shared the Figs stuffed with chicken in Tamarind (very good) and the Flamed Eggplant in Tahine (tasteless and disappointing). Mains were outstanding. I had the... More

Returning to Jerusalem after 17 years we wanted to see if Eucalyptus was as good as we remembered. It was better. We had the degustation meal. Every item was superb. Large portions. Almost unable to finish. Lovely to chat with owner/head chef.

I tried to get a reservation at this restaurant a few days ago, but it was completely booked up. To my surprise, our gate one tour had an optional dinner and light show. The dinner was upstairs at the eucalyptus. I describe dinner as a tasting dinner that offered anti-pastas, fresh bread, a ground meat and vegetable dish, and a... More

This was our second visit in this restaurant. No disappointment! The food is on the expensive side and the dishes are relatively small but... the taste is amazing! On this visit we had a 100% vegan menu which was exquisite was beautiful plated dishes and amazing tastes. The owner of the restaurant is a very friendly and interesting person. We... More

We were a group of nine and received a service of kings. All the plates were well served and the quality was superb. Good service and great food! Don't miss it.

My wife and I visited the Eucalyptus during Passover week. We are Christian, and had a few bad experiences around town with finding food that suited our tastes as many restaurants had very limited menus due to dietary restrictions associated with Passover. The Eucalyptus provided us +/- 15 course tasting menu that was Fantastic. Honestly, having this as one of... More

This is the second time the family ate there. All agree it was the best in Israel each time. We chose the 15 item tasting menu. Every single item was terrific. Lamb, chicken, beef, figs stuffed with chicken. You can also choose single items.

Eucalyptus is one of our favorite restaurants in the world. Located in the Artists’ Colony, it is a lovely neighborhood and a cozy, welcoming restaurant. Fun appetizer on the menu – Red lentil stew – the Jacob and Esau special. Homemade dips and bread Appetizers Kube-niya Syrian style beef tartare with mint, red onions, lemon zest and Kube wrapping Azura... More

Chef Moshe Basson's adherence to the slow food movement and use of fresh local ingredients created one of the five very best dining experiences we have ever had--and that includes at least three Michelin-starred establishments. All this in a charming old stone building in Jerusalem's Artist Colony (Hutzot HaYotzer) very near the Old City's Jaffa Gate. We chose the smallest... More
