The Austrian Hospice is a very peaceful place, away from the busy streets of Jerusalem. The rooftop has a great view over the city. Too bad that they do not have a bar up there!

Small cafe in the beautiful Austrian Hospice on the Via Dolorosa next to the 3rd Station of the Cross. The place is relaxing, the coffee is good though it is somewhat pricey. Enjoyed the goulash soup. Service was adequate but I'd go there for the...More

The tour guide said we were going here not knowing what we were in for. Took an elevator to the rooftop. What a spectacular view. They also had a bar in this building so you can have a cup of coffee and a dessert.

Jerusalem was hot and crowded. The Austrian Hospice garden was quiet, breezy and relaxing. And they sell apple streudel! What more do you need?!

Friends and I stopped here because a local friend recommended it. He recommended the rooftop view and the coffee house. The view did not disappoint. The coffee house offers touristy Austrian fare... the same you would get in Vienna. It was okay but not particularly...More

Be sure to pay the modest price and climb to the top of the building for an outstanding view of the Old City of Jerusalem!

Paid to go to the roof. Decent views of old city from the roof. Staff collecting money slightly rude. Disappointed no food or beverages served on the roof as that would have made a nice setting for afternoon. Remainder of the garden grounds nice for...More
