If you want Street Food at its most diverse, you´ll find it here. Azura has taken all the traditional foods of the peoples that have come to Israel (Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Morocco etc.) and incorporated them into its menu. The meat dishes we had were...More

Azura serves delicious Jewish-Iraqi comfort food, slow-cooked to perfection. Open only for lunch but don't miss the experience.

The tasting menu dish has enough food to feed a family. I felt guilty about how much was left on my plate, I had no idea they would offer me so much food! Excellent dishes all around, definitely worth a visit!

I had the kubbeh (a type of dumpling) in soup. Fantastic! Theh recommended the one with meat fillings and a sourish soup base (using pickles). The hit of the flavours worked very well together. The only open in the day, so go during lunch time!

A market restaurant exactly as it should be! Great good and atmosphere, decent prices and a unique experience. All dishes are really tasty, but try the Kube soup that's authentic and unique. They make their own fresh Hummus and tomato salad which are also much...More

This is an amazing place! The food is prepared slowly overnight on wick stoves and is delicious. Plenty of comfort foods from Turkish, Kurdish and Iraqi cuisines. DO NOT MISS!

Why the Machane Yehuda Market (aka the SHUK) is my favorite place in the world is not for this review. But why Azura has become my favorite place to eat there (with dozens of other other options within minutes) is. Firstly, it is located in...More

I love this restaurant. It is Kurdish Food. If you have never heard of Kurdish food, don't worry about it. This fantastic place--lunch only--is in the Iraqui Shuk of the Jewish Market in Jerusalem. It is better to be with at least 3 or 4...More

I did not have a reservation. Whether or not the establishment takes and honors a reservation I am unaware.

Sabbath or not, they are not open in the evenings. Anyway, the food is finished very quickly (after 3 or 4 pm, you are left with "left over"). So I don't think there is a need to serve in the evenings.
