We were in Jerusalem for 5 nights, and ate at Al Dente twice. It is a small local resturant that seats about 30 people. The staff and food are excellent. It is about 5-10 minutes from the King David Hotel, but both taxi drivers had trouble finding the location. Any item on the Evening Special is excellent, as are all... More

We had a wonderful meal. Delicious fresh pasta dishes, all prepared with a special touch by the extremely talented chef Asi. The antipasti is colourful and tasty, the polenta mixed with spinach is a must, and the desserts are something to remember..... The place is intimate, peaceful, with beautiful music and setting. We'll be back!

We have always had great dining experiences at Al Dente, but now its even better,.A new chef and revised menu make this a choice location. Somewhat off the tourist map, this restaurant is prized by locals and students, providing excellent choices at reasonable prices. A well thought out wine selection adds a further level of charm. Put this one on... More

It's been a few years since we've been in Israel and we looked forward to our dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant in the world, Al Dente hoping nothing had changed over the years. Fortunately, it may even be better though that's hard to fathom based on how much I rave about our past experiences at this restaurant. It is... More

My sister and I went here for the Business lunch which included an appetizer and main.We ordered a pizza with eggplant and a noodle dish with fresh sardines. Both were yummy as well as the appetizers. This restaurant is also kosher.

Very close to down town, for many years now hides Al Dente - the place looks modest , nothing too fancy. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food is just great! Don't come there alone, come as a hungry group, and share! Try as many different dishes as u can. The starters and salads are Good, very good... More
